This Privacy Policy describes the processing of information in the Document Scanner application developed by Volga Apps.
User Documents
The application allows users to scan, save, view, organize, and share documents in PDF format.
Scanned documents, page images, generated PDF files, document titles, and user-created folder names are stored locally on the user's device.
Volga Apps does not upload document contents to its own servers and does not have access to the contents of scanned documents.
When the Share PDF feature is used, the selected document is transferred to a third-party application or service only as a result of an explicit action by the user. Further processing of the shared document is governed by the privacy policy of the application or service selected by the user.
Analytics
The application uses Yandex AppMetrica to analyze application usage, diagnose problems, and improve application performance.
AppMetrica may automatically process technical information including information about the application, device and operating system, installation and session information, technical identifiers, network information, application usage events, and diagnostic data.
Volga Apps does not include document contents, page images, PDF files, document titles, folder names, file paths, search queries, or other user-provided text in its custom analytics events.
Location tracking through AppMetrica is disabled in the application.
Advertising
The application uses the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK to display advertising.
The advertising SDK may process technical information and identifiers, including the device advertising identifier, information about the device and application, IP address and network information, and information about ad impressions and interactions. This information may be used to provide, measure, and operate advertising in accordance with Yandex policies.
The application does not provide Yandex Mobile Ads with the contents of scanned documents, PDF files, document titles, user-created folder names, or search queries.
Permissions and Device Data
The application uses Android system mechanisms and Google ML Kit Document Scanner for document scanning and selection.
The application does not request broad access to the device's entire media library, contacts, or precise geographic location.
Internet access and network-state information are used for network functionality, analytics, and advertising.
The Android advertising identifier may be used for advertising functionality.
Storage and Deletion
Application documents are stored locally on the device.
Users can delete documents and user-created folders through the application.
Uninstalling the application also removes data stored in its internal local storage, subject to Android's standard backup and restore mechanisms where applicable on the user's device.
Third-Party Services
The application uses the following third-party services:
- Yandex AppMetrica — analytics and diagnostics;
- Yandex Mobile Ads — advertising delivery and measurement;
- Google ML Kit Document Scanner / Google Play services — document scanning functionality.
Information processed by these services is subject to the applicable policies and terms of their respective providers.

Children
The application is not specifically intended for children and has not been designed as a child-directed application.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when application functionality, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements change.
